Your Call Is Important to Us…Your Call Was Important…Your Call….

OMG!! WTF…Just take a look at this horrible sight here! Looks like this guy had to make a very serious emergency phone call or somethin’…and now the cops and detectives peoples have shown up right here in the poor guy’s office to find out whatever the problem is. Looks pretty bad. Or maybe the man was just trying to call his sweet little wifey at home to let her know that he was going to be just a little bit late getting home from work. Now, it looks like he’s going to be very, very late. Like forevers and evers and evers late. Think I’ll be very reverently to him and say, “Hallelujah!” Nope, that’s not the right thing to say. Not at all. So instead I’ll just bow and quietly say, “Amen”…or maybe I’ll even sing something heavenly to him, something like, “Hark the Angels Sing!”….

The Sadly Hapless Misadventures of Guide Dog

The Sadly Hapless Misadventures of Guide Dog

Guide Dog is an animated short film by Bill Plympton, the second animation about Plympton’s hapless little Dog. Guide Dog is a sequel to Plympton’s 2005 Oscar Nominee Guard Dog. It was an Oscar Nomination commended animated short film in 2006. As with its predecessor, Guide Dog tells the story of absurdly overly-enthusiastic Dog trying to move up in the world through providing a service to others, this time as a guide-dog for people with disabilities, namely the blind. Inevitable disaster builds as he attempts to assist one disabled person after another, but only succeeds in causing ever-more terrible calamities. Ultimately, the little Dog’s hopes are sadly crushed, and once again he is left to slink away in solitary misery. Maybe one lesson for us all is that if at first you fail miserably, try again and you just might fail even more miserably.

Photo of the Day: Big Empty Space

Photo of the Day: Big Empty Space

Now this is some really high-concept art. Looking at this I’m thinking, WOW what a big empty space!! Looks like it’s probably inside of a museum, maybe an art museum. Right now that’s such a peaceful looking space. It’s good to get away from the everyday commotion of the crowds of people outside on the streets. This scene leaves it to your imagination about the possibilities of what should fill it. Wish I had something really good to hang in there. Well, maybe I’ll just hang this picture up. Yep, think I will.
