Andreas Helgstrand Riding Blue Hors Matine
At The Grand Prix Freestyle Dressage in Aachen, Germany on August 26th, 2006, Andreas Helgstrand and Blue Hors Matine turned in an electrifying performance to earn the Silver Medal. Andreas Helgstrand of Denmark had a marvelous freestyle dressage, riding the amazingly unbelievable Blue Hors Matine in a performance that got the audience, a huge sold-out crowd of 40,000 people crammed into every corner of the stadium, clapping in rhythm with her passage as she went down the centerline at the end of her performance. This beautiful horse was so exciting and as regular as a metronome in her piaffe and passage, which was flaunted in front of the judges at every opportunity. That’s the strategy with a freestyle; if you do something well, do it in their faces. If there’s something you don’t do well, hide it away in a corner. And Blue Hors Matine did it all well, extraordinarily well, indeed. One can even easily pardon her flapping tail, since it really did seem to express just how happy she was to be dancing!

This horse is wonderful, one can imagine the hours of training that has gone into getting this animal to preform so wonderfully. If Andrew and Blue Hors Matine

I was so deeply touched watching this video – I immediately fell in love with this regal horse – love the position of her head and loved her tail. .and what rythm.

Matine and her dressage rider send a thrill through me every time I watch them together. There is nothing like the communication between a rider and his or her horse to put life into perspective. I hope to see both of them soon in another performance. I was deeply concerned that Matine was hurt while being transported to the Las Vegas horse show. I hope our darling has healed and is out dancing in the ring again soon.

…WOW…my friends one day told me wanna see a horse move? so they told me to look up this vedeo and i am so glade i did!!!!! this horse is outstaning in every way she loves what she does. You are Very inspiring and i hope u and Blue hors Matine continue this amazing work!

I love watching this horse dance. Even her ears are moving with the music. I watch it everyday at least once and it still thrills me. Are there any more videos out there of this horse?

I have watched the video of Matine dancing sooo many times, she is so beautiful and what a performance! Never seen anything to measure up to her. Can’t understand why she
got only silver when she is a definite gold!!!

This horse is STUNNING. I have never seen a horse so responsive, beautiful and graceful. I have watched the videos so many times; there are no words to describe how beautiful this horse really is. A real treat!!!!!!!!! Continue the amazing work and please keep the videos coming!!!! Very inspirational!!!!

This pair is amazing to watch. The horse is truly dancing. She got the audience to clap to her passage at the end of her program. Lets hope that this horse takes part in the Bejing Olympics. She is one special horse that enjoys her dance.

What a wonderful pair!Matine is the most beautiful spirited horse to come around in some time. I never tire of watching the Kur. She not only loves what she does but one can easily see she loves Andreas. Hard to tell where the horse stops and the rider begins!! An absolute pleasure!!!

A magical moment in history is the result of this brilliant performance between one entity, Andreas and Matine. No other performance is comparible. Tingles,chills,excitement and a sense of wonder is what I take away from this performance. Andreas and Matine, be proud, be very proud. where is blu hors martinee?i can not find any current information about her.she is the greatest..
