The Quiet World: Looking More Deeply Into Others’ Eyes

The Quiet World is a beautiful short film, a narrative photo-montage by Blaine Dunkley, which tells a very unusual story using only still photographs. The narrative is based upon Jeffrey McDaniel’s poem, The Quiet World. In an effort to get people to look into each other’s eyes more, and also to appease the mutes, the government has made a nation-wide “Twitter-like” mandate that allots each person only 167 words per day. No more…only 167 words.
