A Gentleman’s Duel: Crazed Noblemen, Gigantic Robots and Voluptuous Huge Boobs

A Gentleman’s Duel: Crazed Noblemen, Gigantic Robots and Voluptuous Huge Boobs

A Gentleman’s Duel is a hilarious, maniacal CGI short film created by Francisco Valasco and Sean McNally from the California visual effects studio Blur.  At a wealthy Lady’s grand Manor, the elegantly dressed woman with bounteous décolletage is zealously courted by two crazed gentlemen.  A genteel afternoon tea party at the Lady’s Manor quickly degenerates into a full-fledged duel between the two competing aristocrats, both of whom are outfitted with steam-driven gargantuan-sized, fully loaded armored mecha-suits.  Destruction reigns supreme throughout the Manor and its gardens, as the two horny psycho-noblemen tear up the Lady’s property in their efforts to win her “boobies.”  A gentleman’s lust for life is never to be questioned unless, of course, it involves fierce dueling in Goliath-sized mechanical jumpsuits in a bloodthirsty quest to win the Lady’s voluptuous boobies.  Will there be a last man standing?  And what about the poor damsel?

Waxing Poetic: Death To The Death Penalty

Amnesty International: Death To The Death Penalty

139 countries have wiped out the death penalty,
Only 58 are left to convince.

Death To The Death Penalty is a very moving animated short film directed by Pleix for Amnesty International.  Waxing poetic while drawing inspiration from the Amnesty logo, a lit candle, its technique uses a computer graphics simulation of wax.  The film provides a beautiful and moving message against the death penalty.

Heavenly Calm: Water and Color

Heavenly Calm: Water and Color

Water and Color is a beautiful, calming four-minute CG animated short film by Iranian filmmaker Hassan Rezakhani.  Computer graphics animation was born abstract, with photo realism coming later.  This film provides a wonderful example of abstract animation, where the distinctions between microcosm and macrocosm are blurred, or completely disappear.  The stunning images in this short film could be galaxies colliding, or gametes fusing together or fantasies overlapping.  Whatever they depict, they’re engagingly peaceful.
