Heartless: The Story of the Tinman is a short film that recreates the extraordinary love story between a simple woodsman and a beautiful maiden, who not having many possessions but wanting to marry the maiden, sets his heart to build a large and beautiful cabin.  The film is based on L. Frank Baum’s back story to the Tin Woodsman in his book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, a retelling of the little known story of the tragic life of a beloved character who was once human, made of flesh and blood that turned into tin.
