Steel Life: A Breathtaking Visual Tapestry Evoking Themes of Creation and Rebirth

Steel Life is a luxurious short film by Mathieu Gérard, which is based on an aesthetics of visual effects. The lush soundtrack was composed by Mathieu Alvado and performed by the Star Pop Orchestra at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. In place of a fixed idea or predefined narrative scheme, Steel Life uses conceptual realism, tenderly rendered imagery derived from nature, to create a rich associative network of ideas.

Orchestral music composed by Mathieu Gérard for his films (including Steel Life) and for classical ensembles can be downloaded here.
